How To Convert Your Instagram Followers To ETSY Buyers


Question I used ask myself, so with lot of research and more research got me is priceless tips I now share with you.

Here 3 tips that I've seen work for me and some of my fellow ETSY instagramers.

  • Make sure your profile has the link to your store. Very important! The only clickable link that works on Instagram is in the profile, use it to direct buyers to your store. not on the photo comments
  • Once in awhile try have a call to action in your photos by linking the item link, that way you are directing potential buyers directly to your shop link. Once in awhile being the keyword here means not to spam it. Use words like "You can find this gorgeous piece in my profile link" will tell buyers exactly where to go.
  • As you do not own your social media followers, likes, hearts, etc. What you do own is your mailing list. Switch the url in your bio to your mailing list url and ensure you are growing that list by inviting potential followers to add themselves to that list.
These are highly targeted followers/buyers who you can then send an occasional newsletter or email about new product listings, shop discounts, etc Plenty more where that came from but these are just a few actionable tips that I've seen work. 4 Solid Tips T Increase ETSY Traffic


Are you ready to take on the challenge of Search Engine Optimisation? For that increase traffic as increase traffic equals to more sales. Might sound daunting at start but solid advice for helping you to get started.
Your customers use Google, Yahoo, or Bing as their search engine to search what interest them, lucky few who happen to have their shop, website placed in the top of the first page get the first click. So how the info at the top of page one got there. Or why, for that matter, your site is not there.
Getting hang of the this processes sometimes bit difficult to grasp, in short science knowing getting your site to the top page on given search engine is called SEO. Here are the 4 steps you can work on to increasing your chances of being found in top search engine results pages.

  • Search engines just love unique content cannot emphasise enough on this — they use it to determine what a web page is all about and then match up a page to that search query. 
  • As an Etsy seller yourself, there are several areas you need to concentrate on: try to create unique product titles. what keywords would you use to search for your product and include them in your product titles. 
  • If you going to list similar items, ensure that each product title is unique. For example, if you have two black dresses featuring slightly different style, don’t call them just “black dress”; instead, try to add details, such as “Black Long With Beaded” and “Black Floor Length Beaded Dress.” And try not to use excessively long product titles — instead, aim for about 80 characters. 
  • Google’s Keyword Planner is a great tool you can take advantage of. Complete your your ETSY Shop About Page. This will tell the search engines all about your shop. 

BACKLINKS 

  • Search engines also use links as a factor to determine ranking. As every site got a google page-rank higher the number higher the chance of getting noticed. By having your site linked by a blog or a site with holds a higher rank definitely will help. 
  • Avoid black hat link building as you will get penalised for it and results are not so welcoming. 


SOCIAL MEDIA 

  • Social media it’s a great way to showcase your shop listings. Like Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Google+ few examples out there. Is great ways to show search engines that people are talking about your shop or listings. 

SEO PATIENTS 

  • SEO takes time to take effect, so try be patient. All that hard work take time to show results as you not the only person who works on their SEO right?
